We are a nonprofit coalition and partnership composed of local churches, city government, the Police Department, local businesses, community associations, a diversity of service and health agencies, and residents that work together to bring restoration to our city—block by block. Our goal is to effectively meet the varying needs of the individual, the family, and their community - spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically!

Adopt A Block impacts Baltimore City through many successful endeavors:

Adopt A Block block parties is a party in which we bring resources and Christ-centered entertainment to the block to begin the process of change. Bags of groceries, clothing, hot dogs, and drinks are handed out from booths. People are linked to organizations providing employment, education, medical information, child services, and local community contacts.

Can Can Make A Difference is the largest free food distribution center in Maryland. Can Can feeds the hungry;y by the thousands.

Compassion Commission Program is an intense time of outreach and ministry. We bring in hundreds of teenagers, equip them with God's word, and then send them out into the city. Not only will they rebuild a house for a family in need, they will also rebuild the lives of the broken people in that community.

Station North Thrift Store is a hub of blessing to the community.  Not only is it a clean, safe and enjoyable place to shop, but also the proceeds from this store help advance our various programs and services.

Adopt Block has many more programs and services that impact Baltimore City such as Station North Art Festival, King & Queen Day, Strawbridge Transportation, and Toys for Tots drive.
